Volunteer Opportunities for Kids and Youth

Serve as Altar Server - Every mass, we need 2-3 altar servers. Click here for more information.

Serve in Youth Mass - Youth Mass is ever third Sunday, 11 AM at St. Benedict. Click here to sign up.

Help pack and sort food in Food Lifeline Warehouse - Students must be accompanied by parents or guardian. Click here  for more information.

Our Parish Family is blessed with a variety of Social Justice ministries dedicated to serving our neighbors in need and sharing the compassionate love of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

Other Volunteer Opportunities

There are many ways to share your time and talents beyond our regular ministries.


  • Throughout the year, we occasionally need the volunteers to assist at our Faith Formation front desk and support our Communications team with social media, graphic design, photography, website updates, and the creation of parish flyers and promotional materials. To volunteer or for more information, please contact Racquel Servito at r.servito@parishfamily14.org.


  • We also rely on volunteers for special events and community outreach initiatives, such as the the ones listed below. Be sure to watch our announcements and communications for opportunities to lend a helping hand and make a difference in our Parish Family and wider community.
  • Parish Family BBQ in July
  • Quarterly neighborhood cleanups organized by the St. Francis of Assisi Ministry
  • Thanksgiving meal distributions in November
  • Various projects led by our Social Justice Commission
